
Little did I know that this weightloss journey would turn into a path far greater than physical changes. The challenge I embarked upon June 2009 has been one of brutally introspective moments facing shame, accusation, and finally absolution. But primarily it was a journey filled with reward and enlightment. Today it strenghtens me to realize I accomplished a great task and NEVER GAVE UP!Even today in 2011

sunday, july 5th
woke up at 10:30am ready for another day off from my secular work to work on the house. Woke up hungry and ready to eat. Ran to home depot and lowes with Tremayne. Made a 70 calorie low carb tortilla, egg beaters weight watchers cheese wrap, ate 3 chicken wings, and watermelon and h20. painted the back wall crisp autumn leaves and definately a better match than caribe' for the living room.. its all coming along. Obviously I have just dogging Tremayne for working sooooo slow in my standards, but he is a perfectionist and can't help it. It has taken him all of three days to get 75% done with a 12 x 12 room. OMG this is going to take long. It took all of yesterday to get the first right side of the closet done. He calculates and measures and has every single device for measuring, cutting, aligning, counting, aand squaring off and yet the speed evades him. He is a manly man and is his own best ffriend...LOL but in all actuality its so true. He needs of noone and prefers solitude when working. I don't know what goes on in that brain of his...... and yet he needs me.... so...

woke up at 9am and went to IHOP ordered my grain pancakes, egg beaters 570 calories? ate only have of the pancakes. We met with Jorge, abby, Ty and his wife at IHOP.
friday, july 3rd
So I literrally slept all day. I got up with the kids at 12noon. Wanted to do something atlanta culture... decided to take marta and go downtown. I was amazed I wasn't starving when i woke up. Went to downtown but opted to drive there instead after stopping at Doraville station and no parking was available. Drove to Varsity had a grilled chicken filet with lettuce and tomatoe slice and drank some of the lite lemonade . Went to aTLANTIC STATION and took kids California Pizza kitchen the kids ate pommodore and pep pizza, and some focaccia onion cheese bread for appetizer with marinara. Drank water with lemon and I ate some tortilla baked baja chicken wraps. I felt really guilty and concerned about this. I came home and went to gym late. drank a fuze. Ryan enjoyed California pizza kitchen and ordered a Roy Rogers. My eccentric and original child.

i realize i am really tired today and woke up begrudigly to work ... at least its from home today. i am at 221 am weight and excited to get july underway to more weight loss and healthy choices. i woke up and boiled an egg and whitewheat toast for breakfast. Had alot to accomplish today as I wanted to jump ahead because hometeam will be down a person on tuesday and wanted to confirm as much as possible. I am hungry today and really would like to eat more but must remained focused and steadfast on my options. I cant remember what else I ate besides another slice of white wheat bread with some spaghetti on it maybe a scoop ful. I took the kids to the mall and got them wendys and went to a couple more stores down on 316. I tried on a couple shirts and like one in particular a blue on. I am really wanting to have a new outfit by my staff meeting and looking at what looks best on me. I loved the dark "caribe' colored shirt. I am dark with my tan and dont what the coral or yellow although I have been wanting a bright yellow shirt for some time. I think I need to stick with the blues and green I do better in those colors. I am down to size 16 pant size and able to button buttons on shirts and wears long shorts today. I took some pics and will post. I am tired and hungry what is new? At taRGET i WAS Parched and realized I have not drank too much water today. Drank a Fuze which I am purchasing a couple more for the next couple days. THey are 2 serving per bottle 16oz only 20 calories 5 sodium and 2 carbs and only 1 sugar how much better can you get. I really likey. Muc h better than the vitamin waters with 13 or 15 sugars.
Wednesday, July 1st.
Its July, excited and pumped for phase II. I really need to get pumped for the next 10 days. I am looking to get a target outfit for the weighin and staff meeting on July 10th. I want to look different. my face looks the same to me. ugh. I plan to cut some of my hair and do my usual color or something havent decided.... Scared too, but a must. I woke up hungry and went to burger king. They have a breakfast wrap... Sans the drippy cheese and bacon and hashbrown.... just tortilla and scrambled egg. ate a banana, water. For lunch zaxby boneless 5 piece wings which are were about an inch long and more than just a bite size... lol! water. For snack- Ate my cinnamon rice cakes and drank a smart water. Came home and went to kroger. Making spaghetti meal for kids. Whole wheat pasta, lite sauce. My stomach did not like.. immediately felt full and bloated with this taste... most likely the sauce is the culprit.
Was set on going to the gym. Talked to naomi baby stuff and weightloss for over an hour and then went to gym from 9pm to 10:45am.... stairmaster 107 c in 10 minutes and precor elliptical 306 c for 30 minutes....... 40 minutes--- then did some abdominal exercises.. MUST DO that over and over.. LOL!!! then came home. Drank h2O at gym. Have to work hard these next few days.

in the office I arrive extra early because I do not know what the day will bring. I eat corn flakes with nut mix and skim milk. for snack I have my raisins... wow 17 carbs in a little pack.... Diana c. had some watermelon which I took when offered. I love watermelon. Fruits are interesting to me all the carbs and what they are good for etc. For lunch I had 2 pieces of grilled chicken from KFC. Came home late and kids were restless. Picked them up and Marshalls' boys had MCDOnalds and gaby and I went shopping. Found a cute sundress which I have in my arsenal for next year, hopefully sooner and a bright fuschia workout shirt for 7.00 bucks. I am not yet at a large, but working on a size smaller already. I can tell. I am working hard at not being discouraged and continuing my endeavors which is not an option. Felt bummed out didnt go to gym, havent got our schedule worked out yet with Ryan being here. Did exercises at home and worked up a sweat. If you stand in the mirror in your interior clothes and move. You will see everything you must work on. I can't believe how hard it is !!!!!!! I caNt remember what I ate for dinner.

we are at the end of the month and i am glad but frustrated that I cant pass this mark I am still at morning weight between 221 and 220 lbs. Still having alot of emotional resentment of getting to this point and how hard it is to lose weight. How much sacrifice is required to lose weight and keep it off. I always wondered how very thin people... do they not eat? and they do not not I have concluded. LOL! They monitor every single thing they eat. I have said it over and over...its not every weigh in or every week or month or I have 3 months for this challenge. I look at it as every single moment of the day. Everything I pick up, is it worth it? is it healthy? better choices!!! and exercise.
